Horseshoe Bend Cellars, formerly known as Wichita Falls Winery, was purchased by Linda and Scott Poenitzsch in Fall of 2017. After spending years in the corporate life, Scott and Linda ventured out into a new journey with the help of their children.The winery is family owned and operated. With the help of their children, they are able to turn their dreams into reality. Their youngest, Gabriele helps out with the day to day activities. Adriana manages the marketing and creative aspects.  Ashley, their eldest daughter, creates delicious wine pairings and recipes with Horseshoe Bend Cellars wine. Tyler, their eldest son, focuses on the logistics and market research side of the business.

Nestled between the rustling waters of the Wichita River and the shores of Horseshoe Lake, Horseshoe Bend Cellars is a family-owned operational vineyard and winery that produces some of the most unique wines in the Wichita Falls area. Their wines range from sweet wines including Kirsche, Pink Lady, Concord, and their famous Life's a Peach and Black Stallion to dry wines such as Desperado Red, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The quiet countryside winery features a tasting room, banquet suite complete with a balcony overlooking the vineyard, oak barrel aging room, fermentation tank room, and bottling room.
